Who is a good candidate for this treatment?

Patients with wrinkles between the eyebrows, forehead lines and crows feet.

What can this treatment do for me?

Botox® will reduce your ability to use the muscles that cause the wrinkles, the areas injected will be smoothed out. Most patients find that is lasts about 3 months.

How is the treatment done?

A very dilute solution is injected using a fine needle into the muscles around the eyes.

What kind of anaesthetic do I need?

None is needed.

How long am I in hospital?

The treatment is carried out as an outpatient.

How quickly will I recover?

Immediately.

What are the potential problems with this treatment?

Bruising especially around the crows feet. Headaches lasting one to two days and drooping eyebrows if the Botox® is used to close to the eyebrow.
