About Us
Mr Trevor O'Neill, Mr Andrew Logan and Mr Allan Bardsley worked together for the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital as Consultant Plastic Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeons. In February 1992 they decided to join together in private practice and formed Plastic Surgery Associates. Mr Richard Haywood joined the practice in September 2006, with Mr Jon Clibbon joining the practice in January 2007. Mr Andrea Figus is our newest member joining the team in May 2010.
They based the practice at the Spire Norwich Hospital (formerly BUPA) and since the practice has developed in size, Norwich has become the administrative centre, with Consultations available in Norwich, Ipswich (Nuffield Health), Gorleston, King's Lynn (Sandringham BMI) and London (Cadogan Clinic, Sloane Street).
Between them the Consultants have over 100 years expereince in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.
The Consultants
Trevor O'Neill studied medicine at the Royal Free Hospital London and trained in plastic surgery at the Mount Vernon Hospital, East Grinstead and Paris.
Andrew Logan studied medicine in Oxford and trained in London, Bristol, Newcastle, Bordeaux and Strasbourg. Mr Logan gained a Consultant appointment in Norwich in 1986.
Allan Bardsley studied medicine in Manchester, Glasgow, Slovenia and Australia. Mr Bardsley gained a Consultant appointment in Norwich in 1990.
Richard Haywood studied medicine at St Thomas' Hospital in London and trained in plastic surgery in Stoke Mandeville, Stevenage, Nottingham and Leicester.
Jon Clibbon studied medicine at Leeds and then went onto teach anatomy before travelling to Australia and became involved with Plastic Surgery and hand trauma.
Andrea Figus studied medicine and trained in Plastic Surgery in his native Sardinia, Italy.
